Born and raised in Urbana, IL, I spent high school chasing every musical opportunity I could find. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Illinois. Here’s a recent performance of mine - with COVID-19 shutting the world down things have been hard, but the music has carried on! This recording was made in mid-October by my U of I Jazz Combo under the direction of Tito Carrillo. The song is an original of mine entitled of “Fairest of the Fair”. It’s a little hard to tell behind the masks, but I’m taking the first solo.
